SOLD OUT! Back soon...

The FIX's Fuzz is the hydra-headed dragon of handmade fuzz boxes/boosts/overdrives. Replete with two polar-opposite fuzz tones, a full-bodied boost through light overdrive and a (wide) tone sculpting stage. It delivers BIG diversity in sound -all in a SMALL footprint package designed specifically for the cramped pedalboard. All 4 stages of the circuit are bypassable via their respective toggles, meaning you can add/remove from the stack as your black heart desires. There are no differences between the Poppy and the Ant graphic versions. Same pedal, same circuit.

$262.50

The Brown Dog brings a new bark to the world of fuzz. Designed specifically for Bass Guitar, its full frequency response and robust gain will add depth and authority to any players sound. Independent Clean and Dirty Level controls with switchable EQ allow for a wide variety of fuzz effects, from subtle crunch to rampaging waves of meat. All this power is reigned in by the Brown Dogs unique gating system, which will keep your bass lines punchy and well defined in any situation. At lower settings the Gate will keep your sound tight and noise free, while at maximum with the Drive control dimed youve got the meanest sounding synth bass ever. The Brown Dog also features a Control Voltage In so that it can be controlled by external devices, allowing for even more tonal possibilities. Hook it up in various combinations with the Agent Funk Mark II and achieve some of the most unique synth-bass sounds ever! Give your Bass a whole new growl with the Brown Dog!

Chicago Iron
Tychobrahe Octavian Plus (Octave/Fuzz)

$325

(Sold Out!)

Chicago Iron is proud to offer the new Octavian Plus octave pedal. You get four great sounds in one pedal and two foot switches to use either effect on the fly. Imagine crankin' a solo in an awesome vintage fuzz and kicking in the Tycobrahe octave without the hassle of unity gain between the two devices.

Features:

  • a switch to allow the pedal to be used as a fuzz as well as a standard Tycobrahe Octavia octave pedal
  • a dual mode LED, red for fuzz and green for octave.
  • 60's & 70's phase drive switch that provides the two most famous octave sounds from both the 60's and 70's.

Same great tone and touch sensitivity as all of our famous Tycobrahe style hand matched hand made octave circuits. Just enhanced. Comes with wooden crate.

DWARFCRAFT

Eau Claire Thunder

$275

The smashing machine! Like a fire in your belly! When stomping on the "BYPASS" switch, you will be in familiar fuzzbox territory.  Volume, Tone, and Distortion are all active, as well as the "TIMEWARP" toggle, which flips between the traditional hi-fi type sound and a more blunted, ummm, stoner-rocky type sound. "TONEBLAST" bypasses the tone control, giving you more mids and a bunch more volume.  At any time, you can tap the "feedback" stomper to trigger a momentary integrated feedback loop, because I like noise, so back off, it's cool. "Trim" allows you to roll back your input signal, in case of muddiness caused by hotter pickups. It is amazing on bass guitar.

DWARFCRAFT

The Great Destroyer

$175

Is it a fuzz? Is it an instrument? Is it a rogue angel bent on audio revenge? Rhythmic oscillation and industrial fuzz in a true bypass package. The Great Destroyer has found it's way into the hands of Alan Sparhawk, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Korn, K O Y L, and Pussy Makes Three.

DWARFCTAFT

Shiva

$200

While the Shiva does do a couple familiar sounds, a nice beefy powerchordy type of fighitn' fuzz, and a snotty octave up,  I found it much more exciting to get odd sounds out of it.  Shiva squeels and motorboats and has some suboctave powers too!  A lot of these sounds can be switched on via the starve switch on the right.

DWARFCRAFT

Dream Mangler

$300

Combining the terrible powers of the Disaster fuzz, a treble blasting oscillating screaming demon, and the smooth power of a Vintage Fuzz Master. DF oscillation is controlled by the joystick, as is the intensity of the VFM.  Noises aplenty and volume to spare.  Let's face it, turing heads is old fashioned.  You need to turn stomachs.

DWARFCRAFT

Bit Mangler

$300

Formerly by Devi Ever USA  pairs the wicked Bit fuzz, an extremely cruel and loud circuit, with the smooth octave up and grinding lows of the Vintage Fuzz Master.  Both fuzzes have chaos and noise modes available, and the intensity of each is controlled by the GREAT BIG JOYSTICK.

EarthQuaker Devices

Dream Crusher Fuzz
$145

 (coming soon!)

The Dream Crusher fuzz device has been added to the line for good! This is our take on the classic germanium fuzz face circuit. Made with 2 NOS Mil Spec Germanium transistors, hand selected and tested finest of high gains. Yep, only the finest. Touch sensitive, overdrive-like and great definition from noon back, crushing grinding distortion through blown out and overloaded fuzz at it's extreme. Cleans up well with the volume of the guitar and works great with all pick up configurations and styles. Even though it only has two controls, you'll find a lot of different tones and character inside. We've never played another like it.
Power
THIS PEDAL HAS A POSITIVE GROUND. DO NOT USE A DAISY CHAIN STYLE POWER SUPPLY. IT HAS BEEN WIRED TO ACCEPT A STANDARD 9V DC POWER SUPPLY WITH A NEGATIVE CENTER 2.1MM BARREL. DO NOT USE A REVERSE POLARITY POWER SUPPLY.

hoof fuzz, stompbox sonic, earthquaker devices, green big muff

EarthQuaker Devices

Hoof Fuzz

$165

The Hoof is a no-fuss, easy to use device capable of sounds from warm, gritty overdrive to a huge sustaining fuzz. It's a germanium/silicon hybrid muff style fuzz (based on the old green russian muff) with massive amounts of volume on tap and smooth amp-like sustain. It has a tighter, cleaner sound than most muff's which makes it more cutting and discernible in a band setting. The newly added shift control changes the frequency response of the tone control, mainly on the treble side (but takes out the mud on the bass side). Clockwise scoops the mids and counterclockwise enhances the mids. When the shift control is set dead center it has roughly the same frequency response as the original hoof (almost flat but still slightly scooped).

EarthQuaker Devices

Tone Reaper Fuzz

$145

The Tone Reaper is a vintage style fuzz device based on the "3 knob" bender. It's a silicon/germanium hybrid capable of producing a wide range of tones from every bender era with careful tweaking of the tone and fuzz controls. From thin and spitty to thick growling sustain, it's all here.

GUYATONE

MOm5 MICRO OCTAVER

$142.50

Guyatone's MO-3 Micro Octaver became a sleeper hit among experimental music and noise enthusiasts due to its unrefined tonality and erratic tracking.  The MOm5 takes the basic functions of the MO-3 and fine tunes them into a more usable, stable pedal that captures the analog octave tones of some of the world's classic octave dividers.

Featuring One and Two Octaves down voices along with Dry Blend, the MOm5 also has a 3-way Filter switch that selects between a fuzzy, square wave octave tone, a milder sine wave, and a deep organ tone. The Input Attenuator is essential in controlling the note-tracking of the pedal's octave voices, allowing the user to fine-tune performance to the specific guitar or bass being used.

Mighty Micro

TZm5 Torrid Fuzz

$136

A  new take on the classic three-transistor fuzz circuit, the TZm5 Torrid Fuzz was designed by notable Japanese engineer Toshi Torii of HAO fame.

The Torrid Fuzz offers a variety of wild and wooly tones that can emulate many classic fuzz pedals or create all-new fuzz effects.  Level and Depth controls vary the output and degree of distortion while Tone controls a hi-cut filter.  +/- Phase control allows for additional tuning of the fuzz effect, while the Attenuator control allows the TZm5 to be optimized for single coils or humbuckers.

From classic Fuzz-in-your-Face spit to nu-rock shock, the TZm5 packs a plethora of fuzz effects into a pint-sized package!
